Logline: "Sainthood" is a supernatural cult action series following Johnny Pierdot and Rebecca Dawson as they ride across America hunting demonic forces inhabiting the world's most dangerous criminals. Unbeknownst to Rebecca, Johnny's pursuit of vigilante justice is driven by a far greater purpose—as the human incarnation of God's Avenging Angel, he must confront the consequences of his true identity while battling evil on a much larger scale.
Series Overview
"Sainthood" follows John (Johnny) Pierdot and his former drug-addicted girlfriend, Rebecca Dawson, as they hunt the demons that infest the truly evil criminals of the world. Men and women who exist with no guilt or remorse for genocides, mass murders, human trafficking, child abuse, etc. Those who are devoid of their humanity. Johnny is used to fighting low-level offenders, and is reluctant to hunt at higher levels, but when he joins forces with Rebecca, they have no other choice.
Together they travel cross-country on his bike and track down these mysterious forces to deliver what Rebecca believes at first is simple vigilante justice.
Little does Rebecca know that Johnny is actually the incarnation of God's Avenging Angel, and has been on earth for more than 1200 years, enacting the "karma" that is desperately deserved.
When Johnny's higher-level work is complete, he usually reincarnates with a new body to avoid suspicion. However, his recently discovered love for Rebecca keeps him grounded in his current human form. Now he suspects he might have a chance at experiencing something besides vengeance in his life. He needs her to stay alive and with memory, as much as she needs him to stay sober in her reality.
Rebecca, who goes by "Roach" and never Becky, has survived more than her fair share, and is the best example of a soul that Johnny has ever encountered. Themes of Hope, Revenge, High Stakes, Holy War, and the Purpose of God and/or Moral Philosophies are all central to the series.
*Rebecca's character arc culminates the "Sainthood" series - she becomes the Divine Counterpart to the Angel of Vengeance, given transcendence and the title of Angel of Mercy. Opening the series up for period-driven action-adventure settings with Johnny and Rebecca's work taking place in different eras, against both new and historical foes, as the same lovable duo that battles for glory together against the odds.
"Sainthood" fits into the genre-heavy early-2000s era series that gained large cult followings such as Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, and Vampire Diaries. Episode 1 is currently in pre-production with anticipated release date at the end of 2026.
